I found a place I would like to visit e v e r y d a y: Far Niente.
This vineyard is not your average wine stop. Born in 1885 - brought back to life in 1979. This BEAUTIFUL and delicious gosee consistently proves to be the benchmark producer of NAPA for its Chardonnay & Cabernet.
With an appointment you get a GUIDED TOUR and WINE & CHEESE TASTING. O M G.
On the tour you walk through the historic, TRI-LEVEL winery, that is built in their GORGEOUS hillside within their 40,000 square-foot property. Caves - CARS - trees - W I N E and more. At the tasting you get to experience a Napa Valley Chardonnay and Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as a CAREFULLY AGED Chardonnay and Cabernet from the Far Niente Cave Collection. A seasonal cheese pairing is also featured. Dolce is served at the end of each tasting, this s u m p t u o u s, late harvest wine produced by Far Niente’s sister winery, also called Dolce. COME ON.
If your headed to NAPAplease make sure you stop by this A M A Z I N G destination and let me know if you agree with gleeful remarks.
